CEO Search Announcement

CEO Search Announcement

As many of you know, Connie Kurtz will be retiring in February of 2026 after 39 years of dedicated service to Hopewell — the last several as CEO. Connie’s steady leadership, deep empathy, and unwavering commitment to individuals with disabilities have shaped not only this organization, but countless lives in our community. Her retirement is both a moment of gratitude and, admittedly, bittersweet as we prepare to say goodbye to a leader who has given so much.

At the same time, we recognize this is also a season of growth and anticipation. The Board has established a CEO Search Committee and partnered with Red Envelope Consulting out of Indianapolis to guide this important process. Together, we are committed to identifying the right leader who will continue our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities to live meaningful and independent lives, while bringing fresh vision to lead Hopewell into its next chapter.

The application process will be managed through Red Envelope. Those interested in applying for the position may do so directly through the following link: https://recruiting.paylocity.com/Recruiting/Jobs/Details/3638867.

As we move through this transition, we hold both gratitude for Connie’s remarkable legacy and hope for the future leader who will join us in carrying forward the work of Hopewell.

We're here to help.
